We can have up to 2 keyboard players playing simultaneously on a Sunday. We split this into: Pianos and Synths/Pads. Together they create atmosphere in worship and also provide support for Altar Calls and Ministry Time.

Mid-Week Responsibilities
- Connect with other keyboardist (if applicable) to discuss parts and roles for each song (ie. who plays piano, synths, EP pianos etc)
- If you're bringing your own keyboard, prepare your sounds and effects.
- Learn and memorise songs and all parts with a metronome (We don’t use sheet music on stage and we play along to a click track for all services)
- Attend rehearsal if there is one (communicated by the MD)

On Sunday
- Arrive to soundcheck 15 minutes early to bump in, set up gear, tune up and be ready for team prayer
- Once you've set up - start helping other Musicians or Production team.
- Follow MD’s instructions during rehearsal to help ensure a smooth run through.
- Come up when requested by the Preacher or Events team and play softly during the Altar Call. This is typically a worship song, pre-determined by the MD.

What Gear is Required?
- The church has a Nord Stage 2 and Roland available onsite but you are more than welcome to bring your own keyboard.
- We also use MIDI controllers with a laptop for more synth possibilities. Not required but advisable to allow for practice at home.
- In ear monitors - We use in ear body packs to hear everything on stage, no Foldback wedges. We recommend the Shure SE215 to start off. These use a 3.5mm jack. No headphones such as Beats by Dre etc
