Every service has quite a few Backing Vocalists on platform (6 in South). Your role in ANY of the rostered vocal platform position is to be on platform and lead people to Jesus, lead people into the presence of God and leading people with joy and passion in praise and worship. All BV Positions are equally valued - as we are all equally called. Every one is vital for the team and service.

This role exists to:
- support and endorse the vision of Senior Leadership and Creative Pastor.
uphold and promote the culture, core convictions and positive name of Life Church both within the church and the community.
support in every way possible the smooth running of Life Church services.
advance the cause of the Gospel of Jesus
The BV Layout at Brisbane South looks like this.
The BVs go 1-6, left to right, with 1-3 frontline, and 4-6 backline. Sometimes SL and BV2 platform positioning may swap, but this is the general layout.

Our Expectations
We are a team of excellence and an All Star Team. There are a few expectations as a BV and these are:
- Turning up to rehearsal and Sundays on time
- Giving 110% in rehearsal and in Service
- Learning each song for your rostered Sunday prior to rehearsal. This includes knowing and practicing your allocated parts which the Vocal Director will allocate
- Follow the Platform dress guidelines.
- Be productive and attentive in sound check, timely in getting your mix correct and following instructions from the production team when required i.e. singing individually for EQing and Gains
